I have worked with BBS builders on two residential construction projects and recommend them without reservation.
The initial project in 2012 was in Sudbury, which was a “deep energy retrofit “of a conventional home. A deep energy retrofit attempts to drastically reduce the energy consumption of a home by adding high levels of insulation and meticulous air sealing. This home participated in National Grid’s pilot program. BBS Builder’s work on the home’s enclosure, which included exterior insulation, windows, doors, siding, roofing and trim successfully addressed the pilot program’s air sealing detail requirements and exceeded National Grid’s standards.
Currently, I’m working with BBS Builders on a home renovation project Carlisle. The crew includes the same key members as the initial project. As before, the work quality exceeds expectations. This project has been especially challenging and has required ongoing, close communication between Scott Marcello and myself. Scott has maintained a consistent level of contact throughout.

I also want to say that the team who have been out at our house have been great, very polite, professional and respectful of our routines. I overheard one of the guys telling the other guy at the end of the day to be sure to shut the gates because we have kids and dogs. They really have been great about closing the gates when they leave for the day. We (and the dogs) appreciate it! Just wanted to pass the kudos along.
